Mbongi Circles are the way we engage in the study of God’s Holy Word. It begins at the beginning of the month, where our Mbongi Circle Leaders (featured in the picture) meet to meditate, pray over and study the scripture. After that meeting, several groups lead discussions around the same topic, facilitated by the leaders, yet all are encouraged to participate. At the end of the month, we all gather for a potluck dinner to share not only food for the body, but food for the soul as we share what God has given all circles throughout the month. The April schedule:
4/3 Leaders Meeting
4/8 Mbongi Circle – led by women
4/11 Mbongi Circle – led by young college students
4/20 Mbongi Circle – led by men
4/24 Mbongi Circle – All Congregation Pot Luck / Study session
