Here’s a list of our ministries:
AUDIO VISUAL / TECHNICAL – Led by a group of technically savvy Christian technicians who work behind the scene to facilitate the audio, visual and online experience of Sankofa.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH – Led by two of our members who love children, our young people ages eleven & younger, enjoy Christian activities during the preaching moment.
COMBINED CHOIR (MBUNTU SASA) – Led by a staff of gifted, Christian musicians who devotedly teach choir members to make an offering of their voices.
FOOD SHARE – Provides fresh food monthly for the hungry, homeless & less fortunate.
HOSPITALITY – Hosts family repasts at funeral services and also hosts in-house fellowship following worship service that highlights a ‘rolling out of the red carpet’ for visitors gathered within our gates.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER – The engine that protects, sustains and keeps the church moving… participants pray via conference call daily at 6:00am.
MEN’S MINISTRY – The Men’s ministry at Sankofa United Church of Christ
SISTERS OF SANKOFA – The Women’s ministry at Sankofa United Church of Christ.
USHER MINISTRY – The doorkeepers of the house of the Lord.
